Scarlet Bloom Cocktail Recipe
BOTANICAL BEVERAGES
This vibrant cocktail offers a bright blend of warmth, spice, and fizz, making it a perfect choice for cozy evenings or special gatherings.
With a blend of bitter and sweet notes, its aromatic flavors combine to make a festive drink – and one that can also easily be made as a mocktail!
And for an extra botanical embellishment, set edible flowers (either whole blooms or loose petals) in rose-shaped ice cube molds and freeze until solid.
Ingredients
2 ounces bourbon
1 ounce spiced syrup, such as FloraLuna Apothecary Cardamom & Clove Syrup or St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
½ ounce Cointreau
1 ounce grenadine
4 dashes Angostura bitters
6 ounces sparkling rosé wine
Edible flowers for garnish / ice cubes
Note: for an alcohol-free mocktail version, omit the bourbon, use an alcohol-removed wine (we like Surely Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Rose), and use simple syrup in place of the Cointreau.
Instructions
In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, combine the bourbon, spiced syrup, Cointreau, grenadine, and Angostura bitters.
Shake vigorously until the mixture is well chilled.
Strain into a glass filled with ice – or add an oversized flower-shaped ice cube for an extra flourish.
Pour in the sparkling rosé.
Garnish the rim of the glass with edible flowers and enjoy!
